From 2006-2009 I made a series of drawings that fell under the title of Sounds that Words Make. This work began with what you see below: as a systematic listing of my own invented words on cue cards. The project was conceived as a temporary installation for my graduate studio at Concordia University the semester before we were to be moved to a new location. The drawing that began the Sounds that Words Make project was actually a transcription of W Word Wall on paper, and was made as a one-off effort for donation to the MFA annual art auction.
